It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing at The Walford Residence on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paul in 2016, as well as her 4 late infant daughters, Viviane, Colette, Gaetanne and Dolorese. Cherished mother of Godfroy (Lisa) Veilleux, Rose (John) West, Aline Narbonne, Thérèse Henry (Conrad Morin), Gilles (Paula) Veilleux and Pauline Froment (Fern Brisson). Loving grandmother of Viviane, Nathalie and late Stéphane; Jo-Anne and Paula; Mylene and Liane; Kevin, late Patrick and Chantal; Keegan, Désirée,Tiffanie and Josh; Lisa and Joel. Mémère will be sadly missed by 25 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Douglas and Josephine Rousselle and all her brothers and sisters.

Mom was a loving mother, always caring, compassionate and family meant the world to her. She loved to entertain, spending precious time with family. She looked forward to family gatherings, playing cards, singing, dancing and playing guitar. She enjoyed travelling, casino trips and taking pride in her gardening. Cooking was her passion, she made the best pies ever. We will cherish your memories forever. We love you Mom!

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Walford Residence for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Amber and Stephanie, their kindness will not be forgotten.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 16, 2022 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, followed by a lunch reception. Burial to take place at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery at 2pm. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a mass at the church of their choice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
