It is with great sorrow the family of Stephen Nathan John Edwards (A.K.A. Tiny) announces his passing on Monday June 29, 2020 in Timmins, Ontario at the age of 31 years.
Tiny Leaves behind his son Matty and his partner Anne-Marie Iahtail. He is also survived by his parents Richard and Kimberly Edwards (nee Chakasim) and his siblings Kari Lynn, Jordan (Keri Lee) and Natasha (Pat). Tiny was the uncle of Chantel (Koddy), Ethan (Mackenzie), Aviee, Taysean, Jordyn, Jacey, Journee, Zylah and Nova, he was the great-uncle of Tye. Tiny was the grandson of Abel and Marie Mattinas, Rachel Chakasim and Ronald (Sylvie) Wesley. Tiny was a nephew, cousin and friend to many. He was born July 28, 1988 in Timmins, Ontario. He lived in Moosonee, Attawapiskat and then in Timmins. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tiny was like a MacGyver - a man of many talents. He was helpful and a protector to many. Different people have their stories how tiny was a trusted friend and would protect them. Tiny humorous, he liked to joke around and make others laugh. Tiny was known to be a good listener if you needed a listening ear, he would stop and really listen. He will be sadly missed by many. In light of the current corona virus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made the decision to have a private family service. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
