FLONDRA, STACCIA (nee Wojtylo)
1936-2019

The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Harry Flondra (2012). Loving mother of Paula (Michael) Chabot of Barrie, Michael (Christine) Flondra, Linda Flondra and Janet Flondra all of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, David, Katherine, Eric, Christopher and Kaitlyn. Staccia is predeceased by her children Sandra and Steven; her parents John and Pauline Wojtylo; and her sister Luba. She will be missed by her constant companions Jasper and the cats.

Staccia was the owner of Flondra Jewellers and Flondra’s Gift Gallery. She was an avid knitter and gardener after retiring and was well known for her beautiful gardens. Her love of family and her inner strength will be a constant inspiration. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff at TDH for their wonderful care and compassion, especially Doctors Parr, Voogjarv, Sayedi and Joy. A special thank you to Liz Feldman for her home visits and upbeat spirit. Also, a very special thank you to Dr. Noble of the Oncology department in Sudbury. Staccia was always so appreciative and thankful for the care she received.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Oncology Unit of the Timmins & District Hospital or the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
