The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Simone Jasmin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Simone Thérèse Jasmin (Bénard)
The family announces with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Simone Jasmin at Extendicare Timmins with her daughter by her side on February 2 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Jasmin Sr. (2010). Left to mourn are her children George Jr. (Patricia) of Timmins, Patrick (Diane) of St. Catharines, Michel (Carmen) of North Bay, Denise Pasveer (Guy Sherk) of St. Catharines, Monique (Jim Van Alphen) of Sudbury, Julie (Gary Erickson) of Nighthawk and son-in-law Phil Lachapelle (Lise). Loving grandmother to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne (1976), her grandson Luc Fortier (2008), and all of her siblings . Simone also leaves to mourn many family and close friends.

The family wishes to thank Extendicare Timmins for their kindness and care, during her stay. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, there will be no visitation or service. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimers Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
