Fleury, Shawn (1972-2020)
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing in Timmins on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the age of 47 years. Beloved husband of Renée Fleury (nee Holopainen) and loving father of Calvin and Brook-Lynn Fleury of Timmins. Dear brother of Normand Fleury (Jackie) of Timmins, Lorraine Glazebrook of Timmins, Guy Fleury (Linda) of Lefebvre, ON and Marc Fleury of Timmins. Also left to mourn are his nieces and nephews; Jodee (Gary), Martin, Shannon (Nick), Justin (Meghan) and Mayson, his mother-in-law Debbie How, his father-in-law Andy Holopainen (Debbie) and his sister-in-law Erin Lamothe. Shawn was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Jeannine Fleury. Shawn enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. But most of all he was a very proud father and loved his children. In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made a decision to have a private family service at this time and will be having a public celebration of life at a later date. Remembrance donations to Brook-Lynn Fleury Education Fund (Cheque payable to Renée Fleury) would be greatly appreciated.
