The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rose Laforest can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to Rose's family on your mom's passing.
Aline and I along with Gertrude Laforest (99 years old) had the opportunity to share a few visits and meals with your mom at Extendicare.
It was quite a pleasure to see them reminisce about the past in Fabre Qc and their friendship in Timmins.
We should also not forget the great times we had as friends playing hockey in the Mattagami Hotel parking lot or swimming down the road at the beach on the Mattagami River.
She will be sadly missed by Gertrude, Aline, and I.
