Obituary for Rose Alma Gaudreault (McLean)
The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Rose at the Timmins and District Hospital - Hospice on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Gloria in 1993. Loving mother of Thérèse Gilbert (Ron Beaudoin), Hélène Belliveau (Feu Mederic), Marcel Gaudreault (Corinne), Rachel Shier, Lorraine Gaudreault and Guy Gaudreault (Vicky). Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Arthur (Audrey), Clément (Bernadette), Florian (Florianne), Julien (Lucille), Lucien (Sharron), Julienne, Yvette, Denise, Fabiola (Jimmy), Noella and Gisèle (Rick). She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her children Jeannine and Denise, her siblings Patrick, Diane, Monique and Roger.
Rose spent most of her summers camping. She also enjoyed walking and knitting.
In her memory, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11 am to 1:45 pm at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (mask wearing and social distancing will be required along with the maximum number of attendees allowed in the visitation parlour). The Funeral service will be held in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel at 2 pm Monday (Fr. Richard Ngoy officiating). Interment of her ashes will take place in the summer. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
