The family announces with sorrow her death on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Tony Sgro (1967) and Paul Bogyis (2002). Dear mother of Frank Sgro (Louise), Ralph Sgro (Susan), Sam Sgro (Inez) and Carla Santamaria (Rico). Loving grandmother of Kimberly (John), Stephen (Christine), Tony, Allison, Michael (Sarah), Ryan, Lyndsay (Kynan), Anthony (Tracy), Alicia, Corey (Melanie) and Kayla (Ryan) as well as many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Carm Capponi. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Molly Perello, Lilly Mattussi and Kenzie Steffano and her brothers Charlie, John, Sam and Rudy Giangualano. Remembrance donations to the Timmins District Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
