1953-2019

The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 66 years. Predeceased by his wife Mary Elizabeth (nee Chookomolin) and his parents Joseph and Sophie Hookimaw and his sister Sharon Okimaw. Roderick leaves behind his daughters Colleen (Gabriel) and Jennifer (Thomas), his grandchildren John, Ross, Jeremih, Sinclair, Dustin and Donavan Smiley. Dear brother of Greg (Stella), Emile, Micheline, Louie, Jackie, Harriette, Jerry (Sandra) and Randy. Roderick will be missed by many good friends and family.

Visitations will take place at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 12 noon to 2 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 2 p.m. followed by a lunch at the Friendship Center at 3 p.m.
