Obituary for Rhéal "Ray" Vallière
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of Cécile Vallière (nee Rochefort). Dear father of Mike Vallière, Louise Straatman (George) and Nathalie Mattinen (Ken) all of Timmins. Beloved grandfather of Andy Straatman of BC. Dear brother of Yvette Shea (late Nelson), late Fern Vallière, late Marge Nault (late Yves), Nicole Charbonneau (Jules) and Colombe Roy (Lucien). He will be missed by his aunt Rita Giroux, his sisters-in-law Marie Demers (Ernest) and Nicole Morin as well as many nieces, nephews and all his best friends at Lissa Place. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital for the great care Ray received.
A scheduled visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 followed by a chapel service. Any person wishing to attend the visitation and/or service, MUST call the funeral home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 and during the hours of 9am and 4pm to schedule a time. Masks and social distancing measures will be required. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
