Obituary for Reuben E. Turcotte

Reuben E. Turcotte
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Reuben surrounded by his children on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the age of 67 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Cathy (nee Stewart) in 1999.
He is survived by his children Jodi (Darcy), Janice (Jamie) and Jason (Nickie). He was the best "Gampa" loved by Emma, Taylor, Travis, Tyler (Crystal) and Matty. Great Gampa to Zayden, Jayce and Lena. Reuben's survived by his seven siblings; Don (Heather), Sandra (Late Pit), Lorraine (Late Ron), John (Sylvie), Laura-Lee (Ray), Rene Jr (Christine) and Mary (Claude).
Also left to mourn is his father-in-law George Stewart and his brothers-in-law Larry (Liza), Steve (Noreen) and his sister-in-law Mary (Late Carson). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and everyone who knew him.
Also predeceased by his parents Rene Sr. & Marguerite (nee Snyder), his daughter-in-law Natalie, his godson Ronald, his mother-in-law Elsie Stewart and his sister-in-law Ann.
Reuben worked as a truck driver for over 40 years where he accumulated many trucking buddies who would hang out with him in the Timmies parking lot. Dad was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. We would also like to take this time to thank the paramedics, ER staff, Dr's and nurses from both TADH and Sudbury for their compassion in treating Dad.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service and no visitation. In his memory, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
