C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du District, le lundi, 24 octobre, 2022 à l’âge de 73 ans. Épouse bien-aimée de feu Oscar Fortier (2017), chère mère d'Alain (Natalie), Carolle (Ian) Sorensen et Yvan (Shannon), tous de Timmins. Grand-mère adorée d'Amber, Alexa, Jaedon et Maxime. Chère sœur de Lionel (feue Claudette), Imelda (feu Jean), Léo (feue Suzanne), feu Donat, feu Adélard (feue Yollande), feu Réal (Rose-Hélène), Monique (feu Gérard), Adrienne (Fernand) et Gaëtan (Lise). Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Adélard et Nathalie Viel. La famille tient à remercier le CCAC et toutes les infirmières, physiothérapeutes et tout l'aide que nous avons reçue, cela a été grandement apprécié. Selon ses souhaits, l'incinération a eu lieu. Un service de sépulture privé aura lieu. Les dons commémoratifs à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et l'AVC , la Société canadienne du Cancer ou à la Société de l'arthrite seront grandement appréciés. The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Fortier (2017), loving mother of Alain (Natalie), Carolle (Ian) Sorensen and Yvan (Shannon) all of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Amber, Alexa, Jaedon and Maxime. Dear sister of Lionel (late Claudette), Imelda (late Jean), Léo (late Suzanne), late Donat, late Adelard (late Yollande), late Réal (Rose-Hélène), Monique (late Gérard), Adrienne (Fernand) and Gaetan (Lise). She was predeceased by her parents Adélard and Nathalie Viel. The family would like to thank CCAC and all the nurses, Physiotherapist and help that we received, it was greatly appreciated. As per her wishes, cremation was held, and a private graveside service will be held. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
