The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on Sunday April 7, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Marcel Nantel (72). She is survived by her children Yves Nantel of Kapuskasing, Colette Maltais (Dan) and Pierre Nantel (Nicky) both of Timmins. Dear grandmother of Shawn Levesque (Lou-Lou), Cory-Lee Maltais, Crystal Nantel and great grandmother of Makayla Proulx-Levesque, Cody & Alex Levesque. She is survived by her brother-in-law Jean-Guy Nantel (Denise) and sisters-in-law Jeannette Fournel and Rollande Fournel as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a foster child Vicky.
Also predeceased by her parents Lorenzo Fournel (61) & Marie-Rose (nee Filion) (82), her siblings Roy Fournel (2001), Lina Madore (05), Réal Fournel (05), Renald Fournel (06) and her brother-in-law Gérard Madore (02).
She was a foster mother for the children-aid from 1969-85. Her past times was playing cards, knitting and playing Bingo. Thank you to everybody who took care of her, to the LHIN workers; Sylvie, Nathalie, Suzanne & Vicky, Doctors, nurses at the Golden Manor and to her nieces Lise and Mariette who helped when she had appointments. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from St. Joseph Church (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, April 10 at the
