The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Raymond Scully can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Fairwell Ray. I have found memories of English literature classes and the insightful conversations around many of the novels, plays and poetry he enriched the classroom with. He cared a great deal for the students and it showed in his preparation and delivery of the course content. He had a very distinctive delivery in the front of the class. He would take a step or two forward and then measured would retrace those steps back ward with his right hand and forearm across his waist. He would repeat this pattern and sometimes move to another part of the room and repeat. I was just thinking yesterday how he set down rules and stuck by them: "Don't be late for class or you won't be allowed in the class"...true to his word some of us were tardy following a gym class and I can remember him closing the door in my face. He knew how much I enjoyed his literature classess and the disappointment on his face matched mine...I was never late for class again.
