The family announces with sorrow, after a brief, but hard fought battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family, his passing on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 60 years.

Normand met Margaret, the love of his life, in Burlington when they were in high school; they married in 1997 and built a beautiful life together with their 3 beautiful daughters, and their 8 grand children. He dedicated his life to them and was their biggest supporter no matter what they under took. His pride for his girls was simply unmatched.

Normand worked for Bradley Brothers/Major Drilling since 1986 and made many friendships during his career. He is remembered fondly as being a good natured and easygoing guy who always offered a smile and a helping hand. His years of hard work and dedication to the same company was admirable.

Normand loved the outdoors and was always adventurous. He was an avid hunter, and fisherman who enjoyed camping with his family and they had many memorable adventures through the years. Kayaking, and exploring the outdoors remained one of his great passions.
