The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Norbert at the Extendicare Timmins on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Diane (nee Mousseau). Loving father of Linda Fleming (Dave) and Jean Lacroix (Tony). Cherished grandfather of Robert, Richard and Michel and great grandfather of Abby, Alexa, Henry, and Nolan. He will be sadly missed by his special friend and partner Louise Heroux. Dear brother of Michel Lacroix (Tracy), Jacques Lacroix (Nicole), Carole Shannon (Tim), Huguette Deforge (Bazil), Marie Hodgins (Robert) and Lise Mack (Michael). Also predeceased by his daughter Nicole, his brothers Leo, Gaetan (Jocelyne) and sisters Ginette and Madeleine.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and funeral service in the Miron-Wilson Chapel will take place on August 19, 2022 at 2:00pm (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will take place at the Funeral home lounge. In his memory, remembrance donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, August 19 from 11:45am to 1:45 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, , ON
