It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Neil after a short illness with family by his side on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the age of 17 years. Beloved son of Pamela Ashamock and William Solomon. Little brother of Andrew Ashamock and Julie Ashamock (Colby Cheechoo). Cherished uncle to Cole and Cohen Ashamock. Loving grandson of Sam Loon and Marie Archibald (Peter). Nephew of Waylon Gagnon (Lydia Meekis), Trevor Gagnon (Nellie Moses), Priscilla (Marc) Laur, Micheal (Cheryl) Ashamock and Jennifer Ashamock (Byron Corston). The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4-7 pm at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON. The family will have a funeral service and burial later in the week in Moosonee.

Neil had a passion for music. His favorite pastime was to play his guitar and enjoyed listening to his idols, Metallica and AC/DC. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hanging out with his friends.
