Obituary for Micheline Tremblay (Plourde)

Micheline Tremblay (Plourde)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Micheline Tremblay (born Plourde) on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, at the Papineau Hospital of Buckingham while surrounded by her family. Born on August 30, 1944, in St-Eusèbe, Québec, she was the wife of the late Leonard Tremblay (1942 - 2005), Mother of Rémi (Alain), Lise (Gaétan) and Martin (Viktoria). Grand-Mother of Pascal, Valérie (Kris), Darcy (Natalie), Maksim, Luka and Nika. Great-Grandmother of Alessia, Nevéa, Ella, William, Jake, Erykah, Havana, and Grayson. She also leaves behind her sister Estelle Ethier (Arthur), her brother-in-law Marcel Roy (late Sister Clémente) and Jean-Charles Michaud (Late Sister Rose-France), and many nieces and nephews. Micheline worked at Sainte-Marie's hospital in Timmins, Ontario and both her and Léonard volunteered for many years for the community until they moved to Ottawa Ontario in 1989. She worked at the Elizabeth Bruyère hospital in downtown Ottawa from 1990 to 2005 at the reception and for LifeLine Medic Alert. After the passing of her husband Leonard Tremblay in 2005, she returned to Timmins for a few years to be surrounded by her sisters. In 2017 she moved back to Ottawa with her daughter and son-in-law before living at the Château StAndré in St-André-Avelin in early 2021. The family would like to extend a big thank you to the staff at the Château for their care and services. Due to the winter months upon us, the family would like to hold the celebration to remember her life's achievements in the Spring of 2023 in Timmins, Ontario. Details will follow. She will be remembered by many, and her love will remain in the hearts of her sister, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
