The family announces with heavy hearts the passing of Michel surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of 53 year to Therese Cloutier (nee Tambeau) and loving father of Robert Cloutier (Christine Mathieu) of Niagara Falls and Carole Cloutier-Chenier (Denis) of Porcupine.
Cherished grandfather of Alex (Tina), Andrew (Marie-France), Adam, Nicolas and Natasha and great grandfather of Jake, Parker and Zachary. Dear brother of Arnel Cloutier (Gertrude Savoie) and D'Arcy Cloutier (Lorraine Boudreau) both of Timmins. He leaves his nieces Tanya Cloutier and her son Cole and Line Cloutier and her son Vincent as well as many nephews and nieces from the Tambeau family. Predeceased by his parents Edouard (1979) and Annette (nee Duval) (1982) Cloutier.
Michel was a devoted family man. He was an excellent provider for his children and was overjoyed and so grateful to have seen and cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Michel was a man of faith and was a proud member of the Cursillo. He worked at the Dome mine for 32 years. He was a good mentor and shared advice to anyone who was willing to listen. He was well known for his sense of humor, he enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 20, 2020 from St. Joseph Parish. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow at St. Joseph Parish. Remembrance donations to St. Joseph Parish or Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins

Michel était dévoué à sa famille et rien était une corvée pour aider ses enfants. Il était fou de joie d'avoir des petits-enfants et arrière petits-enfants. Michel avait une grande foi et était fier d'être membre du mouvement Cursillo. Il a travaillé à Dome mine pour 32 ans. Il était un bon mentor. Il partageait ses conseils avec tous ceux qui voulaient l'écouter. Michel était reconnu pour son sens d'humour. Il aimait raconter des blagues et faire rire les gens.
La messe funèbres aura lieu à 11h00, le lundi 20 janvier 2020 en la Paroisse St. Joseph. Inhumation au Cimetière Commémoratif de Timmins. Une réception suivra à la Paroisse St. Joseph. Les dons commémoratifs à la Paroisse St. Joseph ou Northern Cancer Research Foundation seront grandement appréciés.
