HAMELIN, Maurice “Red Fox”
1950-2019
Maurice peacefully left us on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 68 years. Predeceased by his wife Carol Hamelin. He will be sadly missed by his children Marlo Hamelin, James Hamelin and Sophia Hamelin. Also left to mourn are his grandchildren Ayla Hamelin Trudel , Kya Sophia Trudel, Madison Pulice, Ethan Bailey, Collin Moluchi-Hince and Ciara Pulice. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters; Roger Hamelin (Diane), Sue Vick (Reg), CaroleAnn Hamelin, Cynthia Robillard (Denis) and Marcel JR Hamelin (Patricia). He is predeceased by his mother Dorien (Richey) Hamelin, father Marcel SR Hamelin and his brother Richard Hamelin. Maurice’s strong love for his family will never be forgotten. He was the rock of the family with the biggest heart. He would drop everything just to make sure we were all happy and taken care of. His passions were hunting, camping, and fishing. He always shared his stories with a big smile on his face, which will live on forever in our hearts. Maurice was always a hard worker and a true gentleman. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm on Monday, February 4, 2019 from the funeral home chapel (Msgr Pat Lafleur officiating). Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 1:30pm to 3:15pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
