The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Maurice at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the age of 60 years. Dear father of Lisa-Ann Carrière (Auston) of Grand Band, On, step-father of Crystal Anderson (Wayne Chapleau) of Schumacher, and father of Carson Seguin & Adam Carrière both of Timmins. Grandfather of Kaitlyn & Andrew Chapleau and Charlie & Summer Allen. He leaves behind his siblings; Elie Carrière (Cecile), Jean-Guy Carrière (Florence), Suzanne Boisvert (Serge), Adrien Carrière (Linda), Gaëtan Carrière (Ginette), Raymonde Ferrigan (late Wayne) and Ernie Carrière (Anne). Predeceased by his parents Armand & Alice Carrière and his brothers Normand, Regean and Roland Carrière.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the Chevaliers de Colomb conseil Theriault #6808 would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
