The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the age of 44 years. He will be sadly missed by his beloved partner of Bernice Jacasum, his 7 children, his mother Marietta Mattinas, his sibblings; Derek, Peter, Albert, Michael, Roxanne and Henrietta Mattinas. Also left to mourn are; his maternal grandfather Marcel Iahtail, his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Paul Mattinas, His brother Jules Mattinas his sister Susan Poonae, his paternal grandparents John and Theresa Mattinas and his maternal grandmother Agnus Iahtail. A wake service, funeral service and burial will take place in Attawapiskat, ON. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
