Obituary for Marian "Manue" Wrona

Marian "Manue" Wrona
The family announces with great sorrow his passing after a very lengthy illness on Thursday, March 11th 2021, at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of 54 years to Helen “Lina” (nee Deiulis), beloved father of his only daughter Corinna, cherished father-in-law of Dave McLaughlin and devoted grandfather of Evan. Survived by his sisters Sophie Kelly (Dan) of Timmins and Irena Elnaggar (Ahmed) of Waterdown, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Manue was predeceased by his parents Franciszek and Victoria Wrona, in-laws Paolo and Mafalda Deiulis, brother Fred Wrona and wife Penny, brother-in-law Vince Deiulis and wife Marie, sister-in-law Yolanda Troiani and husband Umberto, nephew Mark Wrona, and aunt Mary Melnyk.

A gentle, humble and quiet man, Manue will most be remembered for his 40 years as a Chartered Accountant and partner at Ross Pope and Company. He was also a long time member of the Porcupine Dante Club and former member of the Polish White Eagle Hall. Manue loved spending time with his family, whether it was travelling, puttering around the house, or picking his beloved blueberries or Polish mushrooms.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr.’s Vaithlingham and Ditullio, as well as Trevor Morden and all staff members of the Porcupine Lake wing at Extendicare, who tended to Manue with the utmost of care these past 6 years. You will never know how much you mean to us.

Private visitation will be held followed by a private funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Church. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or the Sacred Heart Church would be appreciated by the family. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the

MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME,
