PIGEON, Marguerite Marie (nee Ricard)
1926-2022
Passed peacefully at the age 95 years at the Walford Residence in Timmins, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Angelo Pigeon (2020). Loving mother of Lynn (Carol), Bruce Pigeon, André Boucher (Julie), Steve Boucher (Natalie) and Wayne Ackerland. She will be missed by her granddaughter Jilliann Breton (Nigel), her great grandson Kaeden and her grandchildren Karelynne (Matt), Stephanie (Shane), Jesse Boucher, Natalie Champagne and several great nieces and nephews. Marg enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting , playing cards and she loved dancing. Her favourite sport was fishing and her recreational activities were bowling and golfing. Marguerite was a strong, happy individual. She was a peacemaker who would always look for solutions. The family would like to express a special thank you to Amber, Celina, Josée, Julie, Stephanie and to all the Walford staff for their compassion and care given to our mother. Thank you to Angie and Sofie from Bayshore Nursing and Care Partners for their years of care and devotion.
Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Kidney Foundation or to the Walford Residence would be gratefully appreciated. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 3 p.m. in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home chapel. Due to the Covid-19 regulations, mask wearing and social distancing will be required along with the maximum number of attendees allowed in the visitation parlour and chapel. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
