C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district, site St. Mary’s le samedi 12 février 2022 à l’âge de 91 ans. Épouse bien aimée de feu Bertrand Lauzier (1998), chère mère de Berthe-Mance Lauzier (Betsy Berwick), feu Denis Lauzier (2017) feue Thérèse Lafond Lauzier (2016), Claudette Lauzier (Gilles Maisonneuve), feu Pierre Lauzier (1990). Sœur de Jean-Marc Dupont (Dorothy). Belle mère de Nicole Laneville Harvey (Perry). Grand-Mère adorée de 5 petits-enfants: Claudine Latham, Philip Latham (Denise Fontello), Michelle Lauzier Lapointe, Pete Lauzier-Blais et Emilie Blais. Ses deux arrière-petits-enfants, Salem et Inez Lapointe. Elle laisse dans le deuil plusieurs nièces et neveux. Prédécédée par ses parents Eugène et Marie Louise Dupont de Rimouski Q.C., ainsi que ses frères et sœurs.

La famille aimerait remercier les docteurs et les infirmières de Care Partners et TDH pour leurs soins exceptionnels et leurs compassions.

Le service funérailles aura lieu au Salon funéraire Miron-Wilson le vendredi 18 février 2022. Si vous souhaitez y assister, veuillez appeler le salon funéraire au 705-264-4444 entre 9h et 16h pour réserver votre place. Elle sera inhumée au cimetière commémoratif de Timmins avec son mari Bertrand. Les dons commémoratifs à la fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC du Canada seraient grandement appréciés. Survived by her daughter in law Nicole Laneville Harvey (Perry) and her brother Jean-Marc Dupont (Dorothy). Grandmother of Claudine Latham, Philip Latham (Denise Fontello), Michelle Lauzier Lapointe, Pete Lauzier-Blais and Emilie Blais and great grandmother of Salem and Inez Lapointe. Madeleine will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Eugene and Marie-Louise (Lechasseur) Dupont, her children Denis Lauzier (Therese Lafond) and Pierre Lauzier.

The family would like to thank the staff at Care Partners that took great care of her in her remaining years and the staff at TDH just before her passing.

Funeral service will be held from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2022. If you would like to attend, kindly call the funeral home at 705-264-4444 between 9-4 to reserve your place. No gathering or catering will be provided due to restrictions. She will be laid to rest at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery with her husband Bertrand. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Miron-Wilson Funeral home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
