Madeleine Brousseau (Lavictoire)
It's with great sorrow that the family announces her peaceful passing surrounded by her children at the Timmins Extendicare on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Ben Brousseau. Loving mother of Donald "Doun" (Lil) Jasmin, André "Dédé" (Diane) Jasmin, Lise Carriere (Frank) and Mark (Lisa) Jasmin. Cherished grandmother of Richard, Lisa, Julie, Jordan, Paul, Julie, Eric and Ricky as well as 9 great grandchildren. Madeleine is survived by her brother-in-law Norm and her sister-in-law Flo. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with her best friend Colette Brunet, her ladies from the Preston Apartment and her special friend Jack Vachon. She is predeceased by her parents Cecilia and Harmedos Lavictoire, by all her siblings: Thomas, Doreen, Gabe, Irene, Johann, Rene, Edward and her extended family-in-law, the Jasmin's.

The family wishes to express a big thank you to the Timmins Extendicare - Big Water for the wonderful care provided.

In her younger years, she was an avid dart player. She loved playing cards and was part of the Seniors Centre and La Ronde. She was a proud member of Ladies Auxiliary Legion Branch 88 and 287.

The family will have a private service at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment of her ashes will take place at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, ON.
