DiNocco, Luigi
(1931– 2019)

The family announces with great sorrow his passing at Timmins & District Hospital on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Fernanda (nee Colantonio) in 2015. Loving father of Diana Crenca (John) of Ramsey, New Jersey. Cherished Nonno of Lauren and Holly Crenca. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Agata (Petrocco), his brothers Alfredo & Sabatino and his sister Maria, all of Italy. The family would like to thank Dr. Baj and Dr. Beauvais along with the nursing staff at TDH for their care and compassion, Terri Scott and the staff at Lasalle Residence for their loving care that went so far and beyond, and NELHIN (CCAC) for their care over the years.

Luigi worked for many years at Kidd Creek Mines. He was also a carpenter, a gardener, an excellent wine and prosciutto maker and a long-suffering Toronto Maple Leafs fan. But above all, he was a man singularly devoted to his wife, daughter and granddaughters. He will be missed more than words can say.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel . Entombment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to Sacred Heart Parish or the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:45 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
