The family announces with great sorrow her sudden passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late John "Bill" Duffy (2018). Loving mother of Carole Guillemette (Sam) of Hanmer and Michel Kranze (Edith) of Ottawa and cherished grandmother of Alexandre and Daniel. Dear sister of Monique Kozma (late Leslie), Pierrette Gendron (late John), Jacqueline Sirois (Gerard), Clement Proulx (Adrienne), Henriette Chabot (Rene), Diane Renaud (Robert) and Maurice Proulx (Nicole). She was predeceased by her parents Baltazar and Yvette Proulx. Louisette was a devoted catholic and loved gardening, fishing and the outdoors. Many will remember her as an elementary teacher, she taught for 36 years with the French Catholic School Board until her retirement. Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from the St-Anthony's Cathedral (Msgr. Pat Lafleur officiating). Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
