It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Dolbec early Sunday morning, May 30th, at the age of 62 years, with her husband of 45 years Denis by her side. She fearlessly fought her cancer battle till the very end. Beloved wife of Denis Dolbec. Loving mother of Julie Edwards (Réjean) and Patrick Dolbec (Natalie). She also leaves behind 3 wonderful grandchildren that she adored. Ryan Edwards (Amanda), Madyson Laprise (Chris) and Chelsey Dolbec. Predeceased by her parents Remi (2009) and Noëlla (2018) St-Jacques. Loving sister of Rita Forget (Arthur) and Michel St-Jacques (Elise). Sister-in-law of Suzanne Lacroix (Serge), Francine Bernier (Marcel) and Ginette Lacoursière (Terry). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Linda was employed at the Timmins and District Hospital and retired after 33 years of service. She was loved by all who knew her. She also loved spending time at her camp where she enjoyed fishing, trail riding and family time. A huge thank you to all the doctors and nurses who cared for her. A special thank you to Dr. Woods, Dr. Parr and Chrissy & Johnna from the Hospice Centre for the wonderful care she received. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital – Hospice Centre would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
