Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leslie Rickard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at home on Thursday February 10, 2022 at the age of 73 years. Beloved father of Kevin Rickard (Linda Harvey), Tracy Rickard and the late Jason Rickard. Loving grandfather of Victoria and Hunter, and great grandfather to many. Dear brother of the late Alan, Terry and Shawn Rickard. Also left to mourn are his many nieces and nephews. Leslie was also predeceased by his parents Leslie Sr. and Laurie Rickard as well as the mother of his children Vivianne Vachon. Remembrance donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. A scheduled visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. In honour of Leslie, the family asks that you attend in casual wear to represent his wishes. Due to the Covid-19 regulations, any person wishing to attend the visitation and/or funeral service MUST call the funeral home (705-264-4444) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to schedule an appointment. (mask wearing and social distancing will be required along with the maximum number of attendees allowed in the visitation parlour and chapel). The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
