Smith, Kim (nee Cochrane)
1957-2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Kim Smith announce her sudden but peaceful passing, on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the age 62. Kim was predeceased by the love of her life Jim "J.J." Smith, in 2002. Kim will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Bill and Elma Cochrane, her sisters Kelly (Rick) Jakubiak and Kerry (Danny) Canie, her brother Kyle Cochrane, her niece Kerah Jakubiak (Dave), and nephews Tyler Jakubiak (Jess), Daly Canie (Brittany) & McKay Canie. She had a special place in her heart for her three great nieces Jenna Jakubiak, Millie Jakubiak and Ellie Duciaume. She will also be sadly missed by her beloved family and friends. Kim led a quiet, simple life caring for her two cats, Tabitha & Brandy, and spending time with her family. Kim was happiest when she was watching the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Blue Jays and WWE Wrestling. They have all lost their #1 fan. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 12 noon from the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. Donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society or Special Olympics Timmins would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10 am- 11:45 am at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
