The family announces with great sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday May 8, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Loving husband of Mary Gerber (nee Saari) of Kirkland Lake. Dear father of Karl Shawn Gerber (Delia) of Brampton and Stephen Dale Gerber (Karen) of North Bay. Brother of Carmen and Volker Gerber of Germany. Predeceased by his parents Karl and Rosa, by his brothers Horst, Werner and Dieter and by his sister Sigrun. In respecting with Karl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
