It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Joseph Loone (Ashamock) at the North Bay Regional Health Center on December 13, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his wife Alice Nakogee. Loving father of Daniel Koostachin (Alexandra), Abraham Loone, Ricky Nakogee (Tracy) and Elizabeth Ashamock (Alex Coonishish). Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth and also by 3 brothers. The family will receive friends at the Miron Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (150 Balsam Street South, Timmins) on Monday December 17, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm. Interment will take place in Fort Albany, ON. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Buckley, Dr. Noble, Health Sciences North and the staff on C3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion shown to our family.
