1958-2019
The family announces with great sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the age of 60 years. Loving husband of Sheryle Westcott (nee MacNeish). Dear father of Curtis Westcott (Lisa), Nicholas Westcott (Lisa) both of Timmins, Gregory Hofmann (Paige) of Hamilton and Angela Watt (Kyle) of Innisfil. Papa John / Grandpa of Jesse, Trace, Samuel, Chelsea, William, Hudson, Mason, Ben, Adalyn and Ayden. Dear brother of George Westcott Sr. (Claudette) of Timmins. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his fur babies Sophie and Rusty. Predeceased by his parents William and Marjorie Westcott, his brother Wayne Westcott and his sister Hazel Young. John’s biggest loves in his life were his Harley Davidson, his job at NorFab and his family. The family wish to thank Dr. Paul Armstrong for his care as John’s family physician and also the nurses and aids that helped John over the last few months. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
