Joey Bernard
1994-2020

The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the age of 25 years. Cherished son of Laurier and Vicky Bernard. Beloved brother of Eric (Brittany) Bernard. Dear grandson of Jeanne and Andre Dupuis and of Annette and late Garry Sopchyshyn.

Joey will be sadly missed by his girlfriend Kiri Macauley. Also left behind are many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He is predeceased by his grandfather Gabriel Bernard.

Joey will be remembered as someone who was very kind and compassionate. He was a caring and loving person with a good sense of humor, who enjoyed nature, music and spending time with his friends and loved ones. Joey was very passionate and proud of his work in the mining industry. His endless desire to fix things and work with his hands will never be forgotten.

Due to the pandemic, no formal visitation or service will be held, however the Bernards welcome friends and loved ones to contact them directly to offer their condolences. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
