The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at home on December 6, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Loving father of Chandra Simard and the late Jody Simard (2007). Cherished grandfather of Alyssa and Jayden. Dear brother of Patricia (Guy) Ranger and Fay Dubien. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Simard. Joe will be missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Many will remember Joe as the owner of Joe’s Service Centre on Sixth Avenue in Timmins. He operated the auto repair shop for over 20 years. Joe enjoyed working on stock cars and watching NASCAR.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitations or service. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
