Obituary for Jenny Mary Fry (Kapel)
It is with great sadness that the family announces her unexpected passing on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the age of 74 years. Predeceased by her husband Doug Fry. Loving mother of Kim Bielek (Jody Russell), Robert Bielek, Jennifer Fry (Mike Stradwick), Chris Fry (Jessica Heyland) and Ryan Britton. Cherished grandmother of Travis Mahon, Meghan Mahon and Bryanna Bielek. Dear sister of John Kapel (Lynne) and Wally Kapel (Lise). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also predeceased by her parents Andy and Margaret Kapel.
Jenny was a true outdoors person. She would talk about her many fishing adventures and loved her cottage. She was also very dedicated to the farm and spent many hours with the horses and in the garden. She cherished her dogs, Aussie and Chucky very deeply. She had a great passion for working in the mines, especially on her IT Loader. She was a very loving, dedicated mother, even when she wasn’t your mother, ensuring you had everything you needed and kept you in line.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the Miron-Wilson Chapel (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). In Jenny's memory, remembrance donations to the Ducks Unlimited would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 2:45pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, On. Family and Friends gathering will be held afterwards at 15 Cody Ave East, Timmins, anyone is welcome to come and share your memories.
In Jenny's honour, the Family asks that you dress in Camo.
