1950-2019
The family announces with great sorrow his passing surrounded by loved ones at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Father of Jocelyne Malo. Cherished brother of Huguette (Donald) Malo, Diane (Rangesh) Potvin, Nicole (Mark) Gardner and Denis Potvin. Jeannot leaves behind his special friends Corey and Mike Schneider who were always at his side. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Paul-Emile and Jeannette Potvin, his brother Michel and sister-in-law Rachelle.
Jeannot worked as a miner with Kidd Creek for 40 years. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time on the beach with great friends and an ice cold beer! As per his request, cremation was held and no visitation or service will take place. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
