Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeannine Desjardins can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jeannine Desjardins
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Extendicare Timmins on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of Gerald Desjardins. Cherished mother of Ronald (wife Sheryl), Yvonne (Mrs. Terry Coe), Roger (wife Denise), Simone (Mrs. Imran Khan) of Pickering, Réal (wife Shari) of Sudbury and Marc (wife Lauré). She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Adolphe (wife Sandra) and Lucille. Jeannine will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and also her 6 step-sons and 1 step-daughter. She is predeceased by her parents Adolphe and Ameline (Amey) Séguin, her siblings Léo, May, Paul, Marguerite, Florence, Ted, Gerald, Alice and her first husband Raymond Levesque.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Extendicare for the care and compassion they provided to Jeannine and the family. Also, a special thank you to Dr. DiTullio.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation or service. A memorial service will be held at a later date when all family and friends can attend. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
