Obituary for Jeannette Racicot (Martel)

Jeannette Racicot (Martel)
Racicot, Jeannette (nee Martel)
1932-2021
The family of Jeannette Racicot is so deeply saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 88 years.
Jeannette was the beloved wife of the late Marcel Racicot (2016) for 65 years. She was also the most caring and loving mother, mother-in-law and mémère to:
Dan (Pauline) Racicot; and their family Sue (Steve) Savage, Tyrone and Tamaya; Lynn (Chris McLaughlin).
Jo-Anne (Richard) Beaulieu and their family; Pierre Beaulieu (Dr. Ines Juvan-Beaulieu); Dominique (Jeff) Shumilak, Tanner and Walker.
Claire Racicot and her family; Melissa (Sylvain) Falardeau, Dawson Lilko and Payton; Bianca (Travis) Bolger, Parker and Baby Bolger.
Rick (Darlene) Racicot and their family; Valerie (Jon) Sande, Maxx Racicot, Dante and Hunter.
Jeannette was a dear sister and friend to all her siblings; late Cecile Laprairie (late Martin), late Rita Auger (Phil), late Donald Martel (Marguerite), late Gerald Martel (Linda) and late Annette Nault (late John). She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and her sisters-in-law Anita and Reina Racicot and her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Racicot. She was predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Yvonne Martel and many members of the Racicot family. Jeannette was a very social person who made friends easily. She had made many new friends in the last five years as a resident at the Walford and will be sadly missed by many. We would also like to thank the compassionate nurses, from TDH Hospice, for the wonderful care they provided to our dear mother and support to our family.
In light of the current pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have decided to have a private family service. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins. My mind still talks to you.
My heart still looks for you.
My soul knows you are at peace.
