Les enfants de madame Jeanne Desjardins Dionne, née le 30 janvier 1932, ont le très grand chagrin de vous faire part de son décès, le 5 juin 2020 à l’hôpital du district de Timmins à l’âge de 88 ans. Le ciel a accueilli un nouvel ange. Elle rejoint son époux, Raymond Dionne, avec qui, elle a partagé plus de 58 ans de vie commune. Elle laisse dans le deuil, ses enfants, Gilbert, André (feu Jocelyne), Cyril (Gaétane), Donald (Connie), Luc (Karen) et Pierrette (Guy), ses petits-enfants, Éric, Michel, feu Daniel, Adam, Cody, Cassandra, Andrea, Darrick, Natalie, Jaymie, Courtney, Lindsay ainsi que ses frères et sœurs, Aurèle, Rolland, feu Yvan, Aline et Lucille. Elle était également arrière-grand-mère de six arrière-petits-enfants. La famille tient à exprimer sa gratitude la plus sincère pour les excellents soins qu’elle a reçus au cours de ses derniers jours. Un grand merci au personnel du Walford et à l’équipe médicale du 3e étage au TDH, en particulier, au Dr Thomas, pour son dévouement exceptionnel et ses mises à jour quotidiennes. Dû à la pandémie qui sévit présentement et des restrictions qui l’accompagnent, la veillée du corps et la cérémonie religieuse seront célébrées en famille. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière de Timmins. Il y aura une célébration de vie pour la famille et amis proches à une date ultérieure. Elle était, et restera gravée dans nos cœur, notre maman, notre mamie, notre sœur. Pour ceux et celles qui le désirent, un don au « Timmins & District Humane Society » ou à la Société de l’arthrite du Canada serait grandement apprécié. The children of Mrs. Jeanne Desjardins Dionne, born January 30th, 1932, are very sad to inform you of her passing on June 5th, 2020 at the Timmins District Hospital at the age of 88. Heaven has now a new angel. She joins her husband, Raymond Dionne, with whom she shared more than 58 years of common life.
She is survived by her children, Gilbert, André (late Jocelyne), Cyril (Gaétane), Donald (Connie), Luc (Karen) and Pierrette (Guy), her grandchildren, Éric, Michel, late Daniel, Adam, Cody, Cassandra, Andrea, Darrick, Natalie, Jaymie, Courtney, Lindsay as well as her brothers and sisters, Aurèle, Rolland, late Yvan, Aline and Lucille. She was also a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. She was and she will remain forever engraved in our hearts, our mom, our “grandma”, our sister. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent care and comfort that she received during her final days. Special thanks to the Walford staff and the 3rd floor medical & nursing team at TDH, in particular Dr. Thomas for his genuine care and concern. Due to the current pandemic and the restrictions that accompany it, the wake and the religious ceremony will be celebrated with family members only. There will be a celebration of life for close family and friends at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Timmins & District Humane Society or the Arthritis Society of Canada are greatly appreciated.
