Gravel, Jean-Yves (1939-2023)
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of late Berthe Gravel (nee Rondeau) (2012). Loving father of Ginette Gravel (Jamie Charno), Etienne Gravel (Ann Pelchat) and Claude Gravel (Claire Quesnel). Cherished grandfather of Casandra Gravel, Shauna Gravel, Sabrina Gravel, Kevin Gravel, Alexa Gravel, Jayden Charno and Jamielynn Charno. Dear brother of Donatien (Huguette), Annette Gravel, Lisette Vallée (Roger), Noel Gravel and Marcel Gravel (Gaetanne). Also left to mourn are his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Donat (1999) and Berthe (2010) Gravel and his brother Etienne Gravel (1964). Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday March 11, 2023 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. Richard Ngoy officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Cher père de Ginette Gravel (Jamie Charno), Etienne Gravel (Ann Pelchat) et Claude Gravel (Claire Quesnel). Grand-père adoré de Casandra Gravel, Shauna Gravel, Sabrina Gravel, Kevin Gravel, Alexa Gravel, Jayden Charno et Jamielynn Charno. Frère de Donatien (Huguette), Annette Gravel, Lisette Vallée (Roger), Noel Gravel et Marcel Gravel (Gaetanne). Il  laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs nièces, neveux et amis.
