John will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Auxilia Boucher and by his brother Robert Boucher. Those who knew John also knew him as the “Candy Man” from Bristol Speed Way and Timmins Raceway. John spent many years as a volunteer firefighter and he had many friends within the community. John and his wife, Carole, welcomed 96 foster kids into their home and opened their hearts to every single person who crossed their path. The family would also like to thank Shelley Boucher and the caring nurses and staff at the Timmins and District Hospital who assisted with John’s care during his final months. John will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, family members and all his friends especially “little Johnny” they were like two peas in a pod! John will forever be our hero! Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
