We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Janis at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the age of 67 years. Loving mother of Jennifer Davies (Chris Taylor). Cherished daughter of Nancy Thibault. Dear sister of Cathy Moore (Graham), Mary Joyce (Brian), Norm Thibault (Julie) and Amy DeLaplante (Rene). Many will remember Janis as a kind teacher most recently at Whitney/Frank P. Krznaric Public School. She was also a silent sponsor of many charitable initiatives. The family wish to thank the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital for the care Janis received. A scheduled visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020. Any person wishing to attend the visitation MUST call the funeral home Tuesday to Thursday at (705)-264-4444 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to arrange a visitation time. Masks and social distancing measures will be required. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
