Condolence From: Marie Josée Deslauriers
Condolence: I was so sad to hear Janet passed away. I just loved working with her. She was great on so many levels with me, patients and just running the show. She even taught my kids to clean fish. Trying to bore my kids back to school when they were 'sick' was never efficient though as she would also keep them entertained... I hope she knew how appreciated she was. Sincere sympathies to Janet's family.

Condolence: Janet was my childhood friend. She lived next door to my grandparents on Montgomery Avenue and I remember us being pre-school friends. Then she and her family moved to the house on Leblanc and I lived on Cody, so I would stop by and we would walk together to Sacred Heart School. We shared a lot as young girls as we spent so many years in the same class. With her beautiful blonde hair and fun personality, I always thought Janet “sparkled”. Our little group of friends were fans of the comedy show “Laugh In” and Janet reminded us all so much of a little Goldie Hawn, even down to her little white go-go boots and her giggle! Of course, in our little skits, she always got to be Goldie!! A dozen years ago, Janet and I met by chance - we sat for a few hours and reminisced…it was wonderful as we had so many of the same significant memories of school and the neighbourhood. And yes, Janet still had that beautiful sparkle! I’m grateful that we had that opportunity as we then reconnected on Facebook and I was able to see her lovely family and a bit of the cozy life she made with Paul in SRF. My sincere condolences to Paul and to all of Janet’s family. A very special hug to you, Mrs. Rochon. Janet, I will remember you always.
