SYVRAIS, JAMEY (1976-2018)
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden and unexpected death on Friday, November 23, 2018 at age 42 years. Recently pre-deceased by his mother Lise Tripp in August 2018. He is survived by his step-fathers Claude Rozon and Gary Tripp both of Timmins as well as his children Mathew Girard-Lefebvre of Timmins and Jaden Paquette of North Bay. Dear brother of Nathalie Laferriere (Dorion) and Luc “Lucas” Syvrais both of Timmins. Also survived by his step-sisters Marnie Bilodeau (Ron), Angie Gagné (Serge) and Mandy Neamtu all of Timmins as well as his half-siblings Nicole Gillham and Lynze Gillham both of Kapuskasing. Jamey was passionate about the history of Timmins and area and as such, created the well known Facebook group “Timmins Then and Now” of which he was still an active administrator. He was also a WWII history buff and active member of the Royal Canadian Branch #88 in Timmins as well as being a member of the First Baptist Church. Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Pastor Kevin Furtney officiating) A reception will follow in the funeral home lounge. Remembrance donations to Asthma Canada would be appreciated. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m at the
