Obituary for James "Jimmy" Linklater

It is with great sadness that the family announces with sorrow the passing of Jimmy at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his wife Elsie (nee Koosees). Loving father of late Nathaniel Koosees (Terri), late Roy Linklater, late George Linklater, Lawrence Linklater, Rita Alisappi (William), Gertie Linklater, Pauline Sackaney (Leon), Jack Linklater (Margaret), Sandra Hookimaw (Jerry), Gauis Linklater (Nicole Gillies) and Whalen Linklater. He will be missed by numerous granchilden and great grandchildren. Dear brother of late George Linklater Sr. (Dorothy), Late Mike Linklater (late Denise), Mary Koostachin, late Pauline Segouin (Gaston) and Phemie Linklater. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by his parents Sidney and Elizabeth Linklater. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Golden Manor for the excellent care given to Jimmy.

The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and burial will take place in Moosonee, Ontario later in the week (date to be announced.
