The family announces with profound sadness his passing at the Golden Manor on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Denise Thrasher (nee Turgeon). Loving father of Allan and Dean Thrasher. Also left to mourn are his brothers and sisters-in-law. Jackie will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Howard and Juliette Thrasher and his brothers Les (late Helen) and Nebby (Dorothy).

Jackie loved his red wine and his sports games. In his later years, he preferred a nice hot chocolate and a Wendy’s hamburger.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the T&DH Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
