Obituary for Jack Spence

Jack Spence
SPENCE, Jack
1953-2019
The family announces with sorrow his death at the Timmins & District Hospital on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at the age of 66 years. Husband of the late Jocelyne Spence (nee Potvin). Dear father of Jennifer Rialland (Darcy) of South Porcupine, Karrie Shea (Jonathan) of South Porcupine and Jon Spence (Lucie Jacques) of Timmins. Loving grandfather of Addison, Quinton, Cedric, Grace and Joel. Dear brother of Heather Howie (Doug) of Englehart and Tess Guise (Tom) of Strathroy, ON. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Potvin family. Predeceased by his parents William and Grace Spence and by his sister Bonnie Disley. Jack was a lifelong resident of Schumacher. He loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was spending time at his cottage at Departure Lake with his family, especially his grandchildren who he adored. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 2-4pm (with the reading of the eulogy at 3pm) at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Reception Centre. Remembrance donations to the Ronald McDonald House Charities or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
