1934-2021
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mom at the Timmins Extendicare on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Loving mother of Bradley, Lorraine Paquin (André), Maxime, Edward (Thérèse), Claude (Shelly) and Ivan (Tania). She will also be sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Hélène Phippen, late father Maurice Magnan, Lorette Magnan, Lionel Magnan, late Yvonne Magnan, Donat Magnan, Denise Magnan and Michel Magnan. Also left to mourn are her many nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by husband Robert Portugie and her parents Arthur and Aldéa Magnan. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made the decision to have a celebration of life at a later date. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
